Ideally located in Aramits in the Atlantic Pyrenees, the Barétous Pyrenees campsite is the perfect destination if you dream of a vacation between countryside and mountains. This establishment will make you enjoy the splendors of this area during the whole trip. On the premises, a heated outdoor swimming pool is open to holidaymakers in high season for your swimming and lazing around.

The Barétous Pyrénées campsite lends itself to various activities for an active or relaxing stay. It offers you the opportunity to visit the emblematic places and tourist sites of the region. You can also discover the local gastronomy rich in flavors: the Espelette pepper, the Bayonne ham or the famous Basque cake. You can also attend the various sporting events organized in the region throughout the year.

Well placed campsite in Aramits, within walking distance of the centre and the Intermarché.
Barbara is very welcoming, kind and accommodating.
The campsite is very clean, well shaded, the green areas and pitches are quite large and very well maintained, there is a swimming pool and a boules pitch.
The possibility of having fresh bread and pastries in the morning is a plus.

We were here for nearly a week with our seven children. I had asked for shade and they gave us the perfect pitch tucked up in a corner. Very clean facilities and a small but well kept pool. This is a great base to explore the beautiful area. I give it five stars because the management are very friendly...

Stopped here for one night in May 2017.

We just turned up at about 6pm, and were welcome by a man about 18years old, who spoke great English to our delight. He and his mother were really lovely and friendly.

We arrived late at the camping, they let us a letter with discription where to put our tent and the electronic key to parking, though we didnt have a car. Wifi was not working, swimming-pool was empty. We were charged 18!!! euros just for 2 sq meters space for the tent and for clean toilet (without soap...

This place was like shelter from a sunny storm! The staff very kindly made room for us after an 18 hour drive to pitch our tents and get some food, drink and a shower. We were very warmly welcomed by the family who run the campsite, great people and great ambassadors for the people of the South of France....
