A camping that sadly has transition from a good place to a money making zero service place.

My husband booked (and paid in advance=big mistake) for a bungalow near the beach (Helia plus) , that place was NASTY to say the least, dirty, greasy, tiny humidity smell and yhe windows did not close, very outdated in general. Not at ALL as the pictures showed,
We åayed even the "cancellation policy... fee" (but be aware and read carefully that one). To make a long story short the camping refused to pay back the 2,550 euros We had already payed in advance, we sorted it out and used that money to upgrade us (as we weren't offered any solution) to their 5 star bungalow but for less days.
About the staying at Vista Plus 6. The bungalow was nice, it had very nice views and it was roomy enough for our family of 4. 3 bedroom 1 bathroom and 1 more kind of shower room in the main room. Big terrace with gas grill (we had to chase the personal to get gas as out gas tank was empty) 1 room with double bed (quiet hard but that is Spanish standard) 1 room with single beds, and one with bunk beds. Tv in the living room and tv in the main bedroom. We had to move to the next bungalow after we found mice in our bungalow, running from under the refrigerator and into the bunk bed room, no wonder why there are so many cats living around there, We were so tired to try to reason with the reception, chat and telephone customer service about mice traps which they did not want to install as they could be a hazard. I ended up buying my own traps but never got any of the mice, after 3 days mantenimiento came with 1 trap . Some days after we discovered a big wasp hive in one of the upper kitchen cabinets and we demanded to be moved as I am allergic.
The other bungalow Vista Plus 7 was exactly the same,, the air conditioner did not work properly but we got it fixed Non of the Vista Plus bungalows are good if you have mobility problems, you need to go on stairs, and it is not close to the beach . I would say that neither of the bungalows was spotless clean when we got them, but then again I was on vacation and did not want to point out every detail.
The only installation we used was the "Chill Out Zone" a very nice pool but sadly nobody takes care of things in the camping and that place was no exception, non smoking but most of the people did, no jumping or balls allowed but no one there to check. it opens very late (at 10 am) and as there is no one responsible around you have the classic 1 person takes 10 sun beds, and only 3 THREE umbrellas. The supermarket was good with good variety of products including fresh fruits and veggies. The Best employee that stand out because of his friendliness was Nelu, who was always nice and welcoming. Nelu drived the Gua GUa to and from the beach.
I had to extend my period because of a change in my air ticket but not because I loved the camping or the bungalow but because I got tired to be moving around.
I had been a guest of CalaGogo since 20+ years ago when the 3 sisters owned it, it usually is like this when a big corporation like Senia takes over that things shifted to the business mentality = more people= more money, The day the camping starts focusing in their guest and take care of their installations instead of expanding and just making money things will get better.
Last to you: FUTURE GUEST if you want a peaceful place with beautiful people that really care about peace, quiet and effectiveness having guest well being up in the list I will recommend Camping Treumal, is another level.
