NOTHING OPEN WASTE OF A WEEK

When we arrived it was very late, we were pleased to find our welcome pack put in the box for us although the park is very hard to find caravans in the pitch black, however when we got to the caravan we found it was not a 3 bed as we had booked and paid for, but a 2 bedroom, I was offered this pitch... number and assuming that we were being offered what we had booked we not only accepted it as it was the nearest one to people we were travelling with, we not only accepted it, but paid extra for it!
We got into the caravan very tiered and was ready to get a shower and some sleep, only to find we had no hot water. although it was disappointed we accepted these things happen and went to reception the next morning and reported it, we were assured this would be sorted that day asap, so we took ourselves out, when we returned we were shocked to find no one had been to look at the boiler and we still had no hot water., at this time the reception was closed and we could not speak to anyone. We had to wait until the following morning again (which by this point was Monday), we then went down to the reception again and had to ask for someone to be sent asap, and we had to wait then for someone to come taking another morning out of our holiday.
Whilst at the reception the first time were where asked for deposit money, which we had already paid on the link sent prior to the holiday (swirky I think it was called), to be told I hadn't, I had to get the email on my phone (which agin cost e money to turn on the data) to prove it and even then it was questioned. In the end that site manager agreed that there had been a problem your end and he would accept the e mail confirmation I showed him, however this does not take away the embarrassment of standing in the reception in front of other holiday makers having to prove my honesty for 10 minutes.
There was nowhere to get a cold drink at the pool area at all, the pool bar was not open once while we were there, we took our own and was told we could not do that either. i must stress I am not talking about alcohol.
The takeaway was not open once while we were there.
There was no entertainment on at all while we were there, either day or night. The bar area was open, but that is no good when holidaying with children.
I was surprised on the first day we went to the pool to find nothing open, but also to be told at 1pm to get out of the pool and come back at 2pm.
Whilst trying to make our entertainment we were told we could not use the tennis courts.
The pool area had no atmosphere or interaction, the only time any staff spoke to anyone was to tell then we could do something.
The evening's there was nothing to do expect go out, or sit in a dull bar.
How is there no activities or facilities that are advertised in May / June? I could understand if it was the beginning or end of a season, but this is not either of those times, we were told by a staff member it is because the park is not full. well, I am sorry but this is not our fault, we booked this park and travelled a long way for this holiday, and expected to receive the park that was advertised.
A family travelled with us with there grandchildren on our recommendation, I felt rather embarrassed to see what they actually found on arrival.
