Located on the Costa Dorada at only 400m from the beach and 2km from the shops, the Ametlla campsite will seduce you by its location. Close to the rocky coast, its beautiful sandy beaches and bays with crystal clear water, come and enjoy this natural and preserved setting. You can also relax in the 3 outdoor swimming pools of the campsite and the paddling pool for the little ones.

During the summer school vacations, the campsite offers a program of activities for the whole family during the day and in the evening. Children will enjoy free entertainment

As far as services are concerned, you will be able to enjoy a snack bar with take-away meals or to eat on the terrace, a grocery store and also a barbecue area. The campsite has a wifi access.

The aquatic area consists of a large pool and another one dedicated to children. It also has a solarium. Wearing a wristband is compulsory.

Outdoor swimming pool not heated

Surrounded by sea and nature, you can enjoy a swim in the giant pool, or in the two smaller ones, sunbathe on the grass, and play with the children in the pool reserved for them. The pool area opens gradually from Easter until September. The large pools and lifeguard service from spring weekends.

Very good experience. The booking was correct and the site was as described. The only thing is that the booking indicated that bed linen and towels were not included but the campsite did provide them.

The only recommendation I would give is to have longer opening hours for lunch and dinner, because we couldn't find lunch at 15:30h and dinner at 22:00h, they only gave us the option of pizza for lunch and tapas and pizza for dinner. The tapas were very good, a bit expensive but it was good.

This place is so good, everything is kept clean and tidy, campsite shop has everything you could need, reception staff really helpful, bar/restaurant is excellent food very good, we stayed for just over 2 weeks and definitely would return. Theres a couple of beach areas excellent swimming pools.

We arrived at 9.30 pm, desperate for a place to stay over night. They charged us 72€ for 12 hours!!!! The shops was closed so we couldn’t even buy any quick food - so we had to set up our gear and cook. We got a spot at what looked like their dumping area. Lots of rubbish and heaps of gravel, right...

Heavy engineering works spoil tranquility

Here for 4 days camping, heavy engineering ground works ongoing for over 8hrs per day, this when the site has been closed for months. Reception do not care, no refund, no sincere apology not even a €1 bottle of wine to say “sorry guys we’ve messed up our building schedule” - heavy duty Jack hammer...

I booked the camping and canceled.
¨30 euros for administration fee to handle cancelation¨ even though I cancelled it a month in advance .Well, ok, agreed if it´s rule of the camping written on the web.

This is not why I decided to write the review here. There is another point why I am very disappointed...

On nights you can see very funny shows by the local entertainment team. They revisit old songs in a new setting and are eager to involve the audience in a talented remake of various choreographies. Ametlla’s got a talent!!!
