Well organised site, plenty of good stuff for young families and train travellers

Had a nice time, went with friend and our 18 year old daughters. Positives: well organised, mobile home was basic 3 bed one, but fine for what we wanted (a base to do Garda (lake is 5 mins away) and also Verona within walking distance from station), pool was nice, plenty of sunbeds, yes, it got busy... and it was noisy but expected that. Restaurant was fine (nice Argentinian waiter) and food was good for the price point, there were a few other restaurants within 10 mins walk. Shower and toilet blocks etc. all clean. The animation team were cheerful and worked hard, admittedly more suited to younger families, but did a good job of trying to get kids (and adults lol) to join in, we enjoyed the Aquafit (sorry did not get the name of the lad who did it but he was very entertaining) - the place was well organised generally, and felt secure. Check in was easy, and thank you to the lady who came to our mobile home to refund my deposit after I checked out and walked off without it. We found it quiet at night, but our neighbours were fairly quiet too (young families - although noisy at 6am). Yes, the cheapest mobile homes (still called deluxe) are basic, they are very close together, and they are small and hardy - but it was clean and it did the job for 2 nights, the decking with table and chairs was useful, once you get the aircon sorted, it it fine. Remember that you have to pay for bedding and towels extra (we took own) but there a blanket thing (I would call it a counterpane) per bed and extra blankets. They have wifi for 3e a night (did not use). A couple of things I would add - don't expect a massive mobile home in a similar style to Haven Gold in the UK with soft furnishings, dishwasher etc. There are a couple of proper supermarkets nearby (penny and another but they are 20 minute walk, but there is a shop on site, closes @ 7), Take deet and whatever you do, do not leave windows open with lights on, it isn't the site's fault but you will find hundreds of the biting buggers in your mobile if you do. No kettles, but we just boiled water for tea. You have to pay 100eu deposit on arrival (fine by us, and easily refunded but be aware you will need this) Our wardrobes really smelled bad inside so we ended up living out of our cases, I can't even describe what the smell was (it wasn't mould or wee or anything like that), and they were clean enough, so no idea. I don't think it is a site geared up for groups of "late-nighters" young people, unless you are doing some wholesome cheap travelling and need a base, in which case you would be fine. Hope this helps.
