Disgusting campsite, not worth your money

In one word terrible, not worth your money. I have given this site 1 star as it is the minimum rating, but this place doesn’t even deserve the 1 star and should get a negative review.
This site and the staff on-site are the worst campsite we stayed at.
We arrived at the campsite after a long trip... and just wanted to go to the caravan and rest. Upon arrival at the caravan the place was disgusting, very dirty, it had a disgusting smell, hair in the bathroom, poop on the toilet wall, and ants crawling everywhere, hundreds of ants in the beds, the floors and walls, the fridge and coffee machines etc..
We went back to the front desk and were told nothing could be done, cleaners were not available and they couldn’t offer us another place. They completely disregarded the problem and gave us a toxic ant spray and told us to spray this everywhere and go to sleep, which was impossible obviously. It is worth noting the manager was present with all this and kept saying there is nothing they can do for us. After lots of discussion they finally offered us another place which only fitted 4 people, whilst we were 6. No extra beds were provided. We took it as at this point we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. The next afternoon we were moved back where they had done half a sweep as the place was still dirty, smelly and swarming with ants. The disgusting smell in the caravan made me literally vomit. We did a deep clean ourselves.
Beds are very uncomfortable and sagging massively, noisy and squeeky at every turn.
When we went into the living area the next morning ants were everywhere including in the fridge, the sink, the dishwasher, the floor, our clothes and suitcases and all over the food.
Again they offered a single can of ant poison, which is toxic. We explained and showed him again how widespread the issue is and that the poison is not safe on or near food and the fumes are toxic for humans. We had to bin so much food. We then went back to reception to explain that the treatment is neither suitable nor enough due to how bad the problem was.
The manager on reception said we should spray the poison everywhere, including on our food and our clothes, which we said wasn't suitable as it is toxic and unsafe. She didn’t seem to care much and made it our problem to deal with.
They wouldn’t cover any of the cost- for the fact we paid to stay in accommodation for 6 and were placed in much smaller accommodation for 4, not for all the binned food, the cleaning products, the deep cleaning we had to do ourselves, and all the non toxic ant sprays we bought ourselves etc.
Also at night the site music goes on till at least midnight and other campers are very noisy with partying going on until the early hours.
Don’t bother filing a complaint (which btw is a paper procedure) as despite promises this will be reviewed within a day or two by the director, they don’t do anything nor did we hear back.
Please avoid as this place is not worth your money and will leave you more stressed post holiday.
